Also included on this lead is a matching stainless steel or solid brass ring. This allows greater versatility for your lead. You can connect it back to the swivel clip to make the lead shorter, effectively turning the lead into a “traffic lead” for situations where you need to keep your dog close to yourself (like near a busy road). It can also be handy in situations where your dog can be off lead, you can simply snap the ring on to the clip and wear the lead on your body, even clip your car keys on if you need to. Be “hands-free” but still have your lead at the ready should you need to re-attach it quickly.
