The fishtail shape reduces the risk of slipping off your hound and distributes pressure on the delicate throat area. Made using 100% sustainable Australian bridle leather and hand dyed to a range of colours, this fully handmade collar will outlast any other. Available in sizes suitable for Italian greyhounds, whippets and greyhounds, it is hand stitched and fitted with quality stainless steel or solid brass fittings. Our collars are finished with great attention to detail using tried and tested saddlery techniques. We use the highest quality equestrian grade Australian leather from Packer Leather for these beautifully crafted collars. We purchase the natural, un-coloured leather and dye it to order. This leather is widley used by saddle and harness makers. It provides strength, durability and minimal stretch. A thin layer of foam padding is used between the main leather and the soft leather lining. The stitching colour will be matched to the leather lining colour. Please message us if you would like a different colour thread choice.

Sizing: For an Italian greyhound collar, please select our small size (15-24cm). For a whippet collar, please select our medium size (25-34cm), and for a greyhound collar please select our Large size (35-45cm). Please note; the breed name is mentioned here merely as a reference or size guide. Your hound may fall outside these numbers, and there are other sighthound breeds not mentioned here that can of course wear these collars. The most important thing is to measure your particular hound. Once you have placed your order we will be in touch to get your dogs exact neck measurement. Please refer to our guide for measuring your dog to get the correct size for the collar, and the best possible fit. We will then use the neck measurement you provide to be the middle of 5 holes on the collar, which will allow for movement in either direction, tighter or looser.
